Laura Jo (Farmer) Jordan

December 28, 1966 — January 11, 2021

Memorial service for Laura Jo Jordan, 54, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Vian High School Gymnasium in Vian, Oklahoma. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 28, 1966 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Geneva Lois (Wright) Farmer and Larry Joe Farmer and passed away on January 11, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was married to John Jordan on September 19, 1996 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Laura was a devoted mother and grandmother. She adored her family and living the ranch life from the view of her backyard oasis. Laura loved everything summer; from cookouts, sun kissed skin, never without her flip flops, and listening to an outdoor concert from her daddy strumming his guitar and singing a note or three is where she could be found spending her downtime. She cherished her dogs and treated them like children. Laura had a heart for traveling. Laura loved taking trips with her parents and sisters to include Florida, New York City, Cozumel, Belize, Honduras, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and way too many more to list but never without a stop in Tennessee to see her sister Jamie for a sleepover and gab fest. However, her most treasured trips would always be to her son Casey and his wife’s home to get her hands on Kade her beloved grand boy! Kade was the delight to his Grams world. She cherished each and every minute spent with him. Laura was the preferred Tag Agent with Cherokee Nation Sallisaw office who excelled not only in her work, but the personal connections she made with the community she not only served but also grew up in. Sunsets on the ranger with John exploring the ranch and checking cows was another example of the love for the simple things Laura loved so dearly. There are truly not enough words summing up everything wonderful Laura brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Laura lived a beautiful life and was taken from this world far too soon.
