Laura Mae (Chapman) Bowden

Funeral Service for Laura Mae (Chapman) Bowden, 83, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 20, 1938 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Eva Alice (Burns) Chapman and Clarence Chapman and passed away on June 15, 2021 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Alfred Dale Bowden on October 14, 1954 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2014. She was retired from Midwest Sampley and of the Freewill Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Nita Bowden and Tammy Mae Bowden; her husband, Alfred Dale Bowden; parents, Clarence and Eva Chapman; three sisters, Wanda “Inez” Owens, Tressie Murray and Virginia Faulkner; and three brothers, Cecil Chapman, Charles Ray Chapman and James Earl Chapman.

Viewing and Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 PM.
