Services for LaVerne (Wilson) Greer, 80 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 2, 1938 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Lera Maye (Spence) Wilson and James Richard “Poss” Wilson and passed away on October 16, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Charles Willard “Bud” Greer on June 15, 1970 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow.

Survivors are:

1 son and daughter in law: Garland and Edralyn Frazier of Muldrow, OK

5 grandchildren: Marla Frazier, Lisa Nipper, James Dax Frazier, Alexandra Sims and Adrianna Frazier

6 great grandchldren: Logan Nipper, Colby Nipper, Justin Frazier, Jarrett Frazier, Jace Frazier and Elizabeth McConohy

1 sister and brother in law: Linda and Neal Vorsas of Ft. Smith, AR

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. “Bud” Greer; parents, James and Lera (Spence) Wilson; and 1 sister, Nelda (Wilson) Rogers

Active Pallbearers will be Wayne Merrill, James Barber, Rick Pendergrass, Jerry Jordan, Lance Harvell and Lynn Allsup.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Payne Hall, Kendall Ross, Eric Nipper, Brant Followell, Joe Stinson, Jim Russell, Roy Petree, Ronald McGehee, Michael Barter, Johnny Roberts, Todd Butcher, Archie Ryan, Charlie Comstock and Neal Vorsas.

Viewing will be Saturday 10 am – 8 pm and Sunday 2 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow. The family will greet Sunday from 4 – 6 pm.
