Leah Jeanette (Sevenstar) Rushing was born on September 15, 1987 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Vanette (Waters) Henley and Little Jim Sevenstar. She left her earthly body and gained her heavenly wings on January 29, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma at the age of 34. Leah fought a long battle against pancreatic cancer and showed all of us what true bravery is.
Leah’s greatest and proudest accomplishment was being a Momma to Austin or as she called him, “Boobooz.” She loved to be involved with all activities in Austin’s life and was and always will be his biggest cheerleader. Leah also enjoyed being a sports mom to every child on the field, including the ones she didn’t even know.
She always greeted everyone with the brightest smile and glittering eyes. Leah had a positive attitude and was an amazing motivator. She wanted to see the people she loved enjoy life to the fullest. Leah will be beyond missed. Everyone that knew her, knew love and friendship beyond measure.
Leah left behind her husband, Jason Rushing;
