Funeral service for Lecho Wayne Vann, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Lecho was born on July 28, 1946 in Short, Oklahoma to Edna Mary (Riddle) Vann and James Walker Vann and passed away on March 11, 2021 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Robbie Nell (Matthews) Vann, on October 23, 1970 at Short Baptist Church in Short, Oklahoma and the two were inseparable for over 50 years. He was the Field Manager for Rural Water District 7, a retired Muldrow Firefighter, a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Muldrow and was a mason and member of Bruton Lodge in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Lecho was widely known in his community, having been an operator and manager for Rural Water and being an avid supporter of his sons and grandchildren, through sporting events, school and their every day lives. He was always teaching and leading them in the Christian path that he led. He was the most selfless man you ever met. Boomer Sooner!

Survivors are:

wife: Robbie Nell Vann of the home;

2 sons and daughters-in-law: Brett Vann and Misti of Muldrow, OK and Lynn Vann and Jacqueline Vann of Bixby, OK;

3 grandchildren: Peyton Vann of Muldrow, OK, Klein Vann and Walker Vann of Bixby, OK;

1 sister: Shirley Peaslee and Kenneth of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sisters-in-law: Kay Henson of Sallisaw, OK and Dorothy Matthews of Muldrow, OK;

1 brother-in-law: M.L. Owens of Muldrow, Ok;

5 nephews: Kevin Peaslee, Kyle Henson, Ty Wilson, Todd Matthews and Lorne Matthews;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Prine and Phyllis Owens; and one brother, James L. Vann.

Active Pallbearers will be Dale Davis, Beau Short, Rick Sharp, Kevin Peaslee, Kyle Henson and Pat O’Bryan.

Viewing and Visitation will be 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Sunday at the church.
