Services for Lee Ray Mayes, 79 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on April 11, 2018 at White Chapel Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on September 23, 1938 in Yellow Hammer, OK to Leota Stanhope Mayes and Mangues Mayes and passed away on April 8, 2018 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Libby Cook. Lee Ray and Libby were together for 16 years. He worked as a construction worker and loved his family and children. He also enjoyed to gamble, coon hunt, fish and hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Mangues and Leota Mayes, 2 sisters: Rosie Miller and Dina Turley, 1 brother: J.D. Mayes and 2 grandchildren: Edwin Adams and Jessie Taylor

Active Pallbearers will be Mike Mayes, Tim Mayes, Cody McFarland, Michael Mayes, Shawn Mayes and Raymond Thomas.

Viewing will be 1-8 pm Tuesday at The Agent – Millsap Event Center – Gore, OK where the family will greet 6-8 pm.
