Graveside services for Lena Mae Cooper, 75 of Stilwell, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on August 12, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edna Mae (Martin) Cooper and Chester H. Cooper and passed away on December 21, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cooper was a nurses aide and a cook at Peavine Schools.
Survivors are:
husband, Audie McMurtrey of the home;
1 daughter, Irene Vaughn and Claudie of Stilwell, OK;
2 sons, R.C. Cooper and Edith of Stilwell, OK and G.C. Cooper and Darlene of Stilwell, OK;
12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren;
2 sisters, Ellen Cooper of Bartlesville, OK and Reba Morris of Stilwell, OK;
3 brothers, Jerry Cooper of Oklahoma City, OK, John Cooper of Stilwell, OK and Jimmy Cooper of Dewey, OK;
numerous other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 1 great grandchild, Hunter Eubanks.
Viewing will be Noon – 5 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
