Graveside Service for Leona Maxine (Boswell) Scott, 99, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 26, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Susie (Wilson) Boswell and Harry Dink Boswell and passed away on May 22, 2020 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Grady Scott on October 21, 1972 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. She was co-owner of Scott’s Paint and Body Shop and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are:

1 son: Alvin Menie of Lexington, S.C.;

11 grandchildren: Ray Maxwell of Sallisaw, OK, Pam Donaldson of Ft. Gibson, OK, Randy Maxwell of Webbers Falls, OK, Paula Ragsdale of Muskogee, OK, Todd Menie of Lexington, S.C., Brenda Barnes of Sallisaw, OK, Callie Connelly of Warner, OK, Adam Menie and Erin Bates;

22 great-grandchildren;

numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Othel Harold Menie; 2nd husband, Grady Winfred Scott; 2 sons, Theron Edward Menie and Harold Leroy Menie; 1 daughter, Ruby Maxine James; her parents; 3 sisters, Nadine Dick, Juanita Cox, Wynana Boswell; 3 brothers, Mitchell Boswell, Glen Boswell, Dewey Boswell; and 4 infant siblings.

Pallbearer will be Ray Maxwell.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 Wednesday and 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
