Leonard 'Chang' Russell

Memorial Service for Leonard “Chang” Russell, 87, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 1, 1936 in Redland, Oklahoma to Jewell (Rogers) Russell and Luther S. Russell and passed away on July 21, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. He was married to Donna Kay (Breedlove) Russell on June 8, 1955 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2023. He was a retired business owner of C & C Amusement.

Survivors are three daughters, Paula Strong of Muldrow, OK and Karen Hawkins and Tom of Lake Tenkiller, OK and Kathy Jane Russell of Roland, OK; three sons, Ronnie Russell of Muldrow, OK, Wayne Russell of Muldrow, OK and Kendall Russell of Muldrow, OK; eight grandchildren, Chaz Russell, Ashley Clark, Whitney Ellis, Jordan Leininger, Kendra Armer, Summer Hawkins, Joshua Hawkins and Mark Darnell; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lola McGehee of Muldrow, OK, Fern Middleton of Muldrow, OK, Maxine Moore of Muldrow, OK and Donna Jones of Ft. Smith, AR; three brothers, Garland Russell of Gore, OK, Hayden Russell of Muldrow, OK and Terry Russell of Tulsa, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one sister, Daphine Forenback; and three brothers, Glen Russell, Cecil Russell and Richard “Sandy” Russell.
