Linda Kay (Emerson) Mccaslin

Memorial Service for Linda Kay (Emerson) McCaslin, 73 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

She was born on September 21, 1950 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Ila Faye (Garrison) Emerson and Carl William Emerson and passed away on December 31, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. McCaslin was a retired nurse, who spent much of her free time on horseback, riding on the trails of Arkansas and Oklahoma. When not on her beloved horses, she was rarely idle, spending time with family and a great many friends she had acquired from years of nursing and riding horses.

Survivors are son, Shane Stroud and Nikki of Pottsville, AR; three grandchildren, Kaila Stroud of Vancouver, WA, Chase Stroud of Pottsville, AR and Daniel Stroud of Pottsville, AR; three sisters, Helen Hicks and Bill of Cameron, OK, Norma McGuire and Scott of Winslow, AR and Carla Waterson and Rodney of West Fork, AR; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Ahimsa Rescue Foundation in Muldrow, OK.
