Linda Lou (Bailey) Petree

Services for Linda Lou (Bailey) Petree, 65 of formerly of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 18, 1952 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Norma Katheryn (Young) Bailey and Herbert Hoover Bailey and passed away on June 26, 2018 in Conway, Arkansas. She was married to Marvin Allen Petree on January 2, 1970 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Linda managed both a career and a family, but her passion was her family. She adored her husband, brothers & sister and their families, parents, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. One of Linda’s most favorite things to do was to plan and host family time for the whole group. Linda was the glue of the Bailey and Petree families, is greatly loved, and will be missed by all.

Linda’s faith was the foundation for her love of her family. Linda was a Christian and loved the Lord. Her greatest desire was for her family to know and love Him as well. She retired from Whirlpool.

her children and their spouses, Jeff and Myla Petree of Muldrow, OK, and Chris and Kristina (Petree) Lewallen of Vilonia, AR

her brothers, Wayne Bailey of Yukon, OK and Paul & Kathy Bailey Roland, OK

her grandchildren, Brook, Destoni, Madison, Piper, Luke, Sophia, and Levi

one great-grandchild, Ava Sue

her loving nieces and nephews, Deremy, Timothy, Tinisha, Amanda, Darrell Wayne, Anthony, Donna, Trisha, Kira, Kenya, Summer, and Aaron

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Hoover and Norma Katheryn Bailey, as well as a brother, Darrell Bailey, and a twin sister, Brenda Sue (Bailey) Petree.

Active Pallbearers will be John Bailey, Deremy Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Anthony Bailey, Darrell Wayne Bailey, Braden Bailey, and Tom Randolph.

Viewing will be Wednesday 2- 8 pm, Thursday 10 am – 8 pm and Friday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Friday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
