Funeral Service for Lloyd Kenneth Jackson, 91, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at First Christian Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 31, 1931 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Essie Pauline (Huggins) Jackson and James Stonewall Jackson and passed away on August 12, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Frances (Cassady) Jackson on December 31, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2021. Lloyd worked in heating and air and was a retired postal carrier. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of First Christian Church in Sallisaw.

Survivors are:

3 daughters, Elaine Stephens and Mike of Sallisaw, OK, Vicki Echols and Steve of Vian, OK and Lori Reed and Steve of Sallisaw, OK;

8 grandchildren, Shea Humphrey and Samantha, Brooke Roberts, Jeff Humphrey, Chase Humphrey, Zac Melton and April, J.B. Melton and Jessica, Lana Ray and Josh and Melanie Sparks;

13 great-grandchildren;

1 sister-in-law, Sadie Jackson of Tulsa, OK;

and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Jackson; his parents, Jim and Essie Jackson; one sister, Camilla Barnes; two brothers, R.L. Jackson and his wife, Bernice, and James Jackson; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Grace Roberts.

Active Pallbearers will be Shea Humphrey, Jeff Humphrey, Chase Humphrey, Zac Melton, J.B. Melton and Tommy Roberts, III.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brooke Roberts, Lana Ray, Melanie Sparks, Mike Stephens, Steve Reed and Steve Echols.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers: Lisa Israel, Retta McAuley, Heather Breeden, Brianna Goshen, Jeff Humphrey, Robin Spencer, Kerrye Lawson and Joann Spears.
