He was born on July 11, 1961 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Ella (Campbell) Poindexter and Floyd Poindexter and passed away on November 8, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Geneva Lynn (Fields) Poindexter. He was a truck driver, mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are wife, Geneva of the home; one son, Eric Poindexter and Isaac of Tulsa, OK; three sisters, Jeanie Risenhoover of Sallisaw, OK, Lucy Poindexter of Drumright, OK and Vivian Bailey-Taylor of Sallisaw, OK; two brothers, Ernest Poindexter and Neal Poindexter, both of Sallisaw, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Poindexter; parents; one sister, Janie Poindexter; and one brother, Odie Poindexter.
