Memorial service for Lois “Bobby” Fink, 90 of Ada, OK, formerly of Vian, OK will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Lois Ramona “Bobby” Cotner Fink passed away November 18th, 2020, in Ada, OK. Bobby was born December 12, 1929, in Cheyenne, WY to Robert Cotner and Freddie Mae (Maloney) Cotner. She graduated from Vian High School in 1947. Bobby married her high school sweetheart Jesse Earl Fink on February 9, 1948, in Fort Smith Arkansas.
Bobby lived all over the country as her father was in the military. She moved back to Vian, living with her grandparents, to finish high school. Bobby and Jess were introduced by Jess’s cousin, Brookie. She set them up on a blind date. After marrying, Bobby followed Jess in his military career living many places, including Japan. She worked as a dental assistant while Jess was in college.
She enjoyed being a homemaker. She was active in many choirs and loved missions. She loved teaching Sunday School whether on Sundays or through the week to many homebound. She also loved playing bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs.
Bobby was a great cook and looked forward to the times when family was together. She would always make their favorite dishes and many hours were spent playing games.
Bobby was preceded in death by her husband, Jess; her parents; two brothers, Ralph Cotner and Daniel Cotner; and a sister, Charlene Polyak.
She is survived by son, Cary Michael Fink and wife Maria of Houston, TX; daughter, Bridget Charlene Clark and husband Charles of Ada, OK; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
