Lola (Russell) Mcgehee

Funeral Service for Lola (Russell) McGehee, 85, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 17, 1938 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Jewell (Rogers) Russell and Luther Sterling Russell and passed away on October 7, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to Sherman L. McGehee on March 30, 1956 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1997. She was the owner and operator of L&M Furniture Factory and Super Stop Convenience Store.

Survivors are three sisters, Fern Middleton of Muldrow, OK, Maxine Moore of Muldrow, OK and Donna Jones of Fort Smith, AR; three brothers, Garland Russell and Meta of Gore, OK, Hayden Russell and Pat of Muldrow, OK and Terry Russell of Vian, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Daphine Forenback; and four brothers, Glen, Cecil, Richard “Sandy” and Leonard “Chang” Russell.

Active Pallbearers will be Farrell McGehee, Michael Moore, Danny Mark Russell, Mark Forenback, Stoney Ogdon and Adrian Russell.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
