Lola (Keen) Partain

Memorial Service for Lola Partain, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Lee’s Creek Assembly of God Church in Short, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 25, 1941 in Picher, Oklahoma to Flossie Marie (Mathews) Keen and Troy Keen and passed away on January 1, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. As a military wife, Lola, was so proud of what her family encompassed from her worldly travels to the closeness that came with clinging to each other as the scenery often changed. She was an adventurer, taking her out the hatch of airplanes by skydiving, in order to share a glimpse of what her husband, J.W., as a Green Beret, partook in for work. Lola was artistic, a natural singer, and so bright she passed her GED exam with no studying. She was a devout Christian who was faithful to her church. Lola lived a grand life and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors are:

2 daughters, Angela Thibodeaux of Muldrow, OK and Julia Dobson and Glenn of Fort McMurray, CA;

2 sons, Anthony Bruce Partain and Sabrina of Kansas City, MO and Timothy Partain of Muldrow, OK;

and a host of several other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Marie Keen; and her husband, J.W. “Jay” Partain.
