Lorene (Ollis) Branham

Funeral Service for Lorene (Ollis) Branham, 90, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Lorene Ollis Branham went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 90 on Monday, May 11, 2020. Lorene was born September 30, 1929 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma to Nora Victoria (Anderson) Ollis and James Floyd Ollis. She married Clinton Branham on May 10, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and was blessed with 58 years of marriage and six children. Lorene was a full-time homemaker and avid gardener who loved canning, sewing, quilting, and any stray animal who wandered into her yard. Lorene was a very kind and giving person, who was of the Baptist faith, and dedicated her life to God and those she loved.

Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton; father, James and her beloved mother, Nora; two sisters, Maydene Lisenbee and Ellen Ollis; one brother, John Ollis; one daughter, Barbara Sue. Survivors include three sisters, Christene Cagle of Claremore, Plina Copeland and Carolyn Fowler both of Sallisaw; two brothers, Henry Davis of Sallisaw and Dennis Davis of St. Joe, Arkansas; daughters, Patsy Foitek of Carollton, Texas, Doris Hodges and husband Dan of Yukon, Clara McHenry and husband Bill of Sallisaw; two sons, Donald and wife Kim of Poteau and Junior and wife Kim of Sallisaw; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Active Pallbearers will be Michael Foitek, John Branham, Caleb Branham, Billy McHenry, Clint McHenry and Daniel McHenry.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Miller, Jason Foitek and Don Eckoff.

Viewing will be 8 AM – 4 PM Wednesday and 8 AM – 4 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
