Graveside service for Lou Ann (Hogner) Carey, 87 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Round Mountain Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on March 31, 1935 in Harlan, Kentucky to Hattie Belle (Crouch) Hogner and Sam Hogner and passed away on August 27, 2022 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Allen James Carey on July 8, 1982 in Virginia City, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 2012. She was the owner/operator of a carpet cleaning business and a real estate investor/landlord.
Survivors are:
1 grandson, Andrew Caton of Modesto, CA;
and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three children, Randy Weatherford, Karey Weatherford and Sherry Weatherford; and two brothers, William Eddie and Marvin Hogner.
Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
