Lucreta Stevenson

Memorial Service for Lucreta Stevenson, 69, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on November 2, 1955, in Kern County, California, to Wilma Marsh and Rayburn Holloway and passed away on December 11, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Lucreta had a passion for gardening, particularly for her roses, and she found companionship in her beloved cats. 

Survivors are daughter, Larissa Ownbey of the home; son, Christopher Short of the home; three grandchildren, Edward Ownbey, Titan Butzback and Aubree Butzback, all of the home; three sisters, Carol Belcher and Steve, Sharon Collins and Andy, and Linda Weatherford and Dennis, all of Missouri; brother, Billy Loux and Charlene of Oregon; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alma Earl Stevenson and James Short; her parents; and one sister, Joyce Ann Holloway.
