Lucy (Holt) Davis

Funeral Service for Lucy (Holt) Davis, 85, of Edmond, Oklahoma, formerly of Vian, Oklahoma, will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on November 22, 1934 in Vian, Oklahoma to Mary Elizabeth (Brockman) Holt and Charlie Holt and passed away on May 28, 2020 in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was married to Vernon Davis on September 2, 1950 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2004. She was co-owner and operator of Nu-Sound Hear Again Hearing Aid Lab and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors are:

1 son: Lew Davis and Helen of Edmond, OK;

1 daughter: Wava Brians of Edmond, OK;

5 grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson and husband Will, L.V. Davis and wife Nicole, Adriene Davis and husband Daniel, Tiffany Webster and husband Steve, and Austin Ta and wife Breezy;

8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild;

1 sister: Parthena Bryant of Muskogee, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 3 sisters: Ruth, Lorene and Sarah; and 7 brothers: Jack, Andy, John, Bill, L.O., Raymond and Junior.

Active Pallbearers will be L.V. Davis, Ty Webster, Andy Shunatona, Zane Shunatona, Hayden Calvert and Daniel Calvert.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
