Lucy L. (Smith) Webber

Graveside Service for Lucy L. Webber, 87, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 13, 1936 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Lilah (McCoy) Smith and Stokes Smith and passed away on November 24, 2023 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Lee Roy Webber, Sr. on June 30, 1961 in Stigler, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1994. She attended nursing school in Blackwell, Oklahoma and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital for 45 years where she also served as an Interpreter. She loved to garden, sew, cook and spend time with her children, grandchildren and other family and friends.

Survivors are three daughters, Barbara Bush and Rick of Sallisaw, OK, Charlotte Bush of Tahlequah, OK and Valerie Coday and Raymond, Jr. of Vian, OK; three sons, Larry Webber of Tahlequah, OK, Lee Roy Webber, Jr. of Vian, OK and Walter William Webber of Tahlequah, OK; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Croslin Smith of Vian, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Christine Fields and Lavada Wildcat; and four brothers, Junior Stokes Smith, William Lee Smith, Manuel Smith and Bennie Smith.

Active Pallbearers will be Lyndon Smith, Kyle Smith, Uriah Grass, Yansi Grass, Winterhawk Grimmet, Michael Holcomb and Stryker Fields.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Smith, David W. Smith, Raymond Coday, Jr., Buck Nofire and Chebon Harjo.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
