Lula Lee (Masterson) Smith

Memorial Service for Lula Lee Smith, 90, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on April 8, 1933 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Elsie Bell (Dunn) Masterson and James Preston “Soap” Masterson and passed away on December 21, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Bill Smith on August 21, 1948. She was the Vice President of Redwood Heights Developers, Inc. and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors are husband, Bill Smith of the home; two sons, B.T. Smith and Carla of Glenwood, AR and Stephen Joe Smith and Nancy of Sallisaw, OK; four grandchildren, Ryan T. Smith and Kelly of Twin Falls, ID, Stephanie Leatherman of Muskogee, OK, Britan Upton and Bruce of Hot Springs, AR and Heather Weedon and Jeremy of Sallisaw, OK; five great-grandchildren, Erin Cox and Rayne of Muskogee, OK, Kennedy and Sydney Weedon of Sallisaw, OK, Kaitlyn Smith of Fort Smith, AR and Carson Upton of Hot Springs, AR; two great-great-grandchildren, Weston and Wrenley Cox of Muskogee, OK; two sisters- in-law, Nina White and Wanda Smith; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Jim Masterson; two brothers-in-law, Lelis and R.L. Smith; and four sisters-in-law Vannie, Sylvia, Glyndean and Marie.
