She was born on December 24, 1919 in Gore, Oklahoma to Edna A. (Rudick) Prater and Samuel Prater and passed away on October 21, 2019 in Gore, Oklahoma. She was married to George Woodrow “Woody” Fields on April 7, 1978 in Miami, Oklahoma. She retired after 20 years as an assistant for Paine Webber and was a member of Gore United Methodist Church in Gore, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

1 step son: Dennis Fields of Gore, OK;

5 grandchildren: Jason Osborne, Michael Brent Osborne, Billy Griener, Cherri Griener and Tricia Griener;

4 step grandchildren;

numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 son: Michael Lewis Osborne, her 1st husband: Alva “A.L.” Osborne, 2nd husband, Woody Fields, parents, and 4 brothers: Roy, Clarence, Howard and Bonnie Prater.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Brent Osborne, Jason Osborne, Billy Griener, Larry Carter, Fred Allenbaugh, Don Dixon, Johnnie Smithson, Paul Eichling, David Smith, Bill Ellis, Bill Kottinger and Dr. C. Patrick Sullivan.

A gathering with family and viewing will be 12:30 – 2:30 PM Friday before the service at Agent Mallory Martin Event Center in Gore, Oklahoma.
