Services for Madilynn Cate “Madi-Cate” Moreland, 6 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 18, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 31, 2012 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tranesa LeeAnne (Lowder) Moreland and Paul Henry Moreland and passed away on March 13, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Madi-Cate was a 1st grade student at Liberty Elementary School. She loved basketball, ballet, fishing, school and shopkins! She was her momma’s baby and her daddy’s princess.

Survivors are:

her parents:Tranesa and Paul “Shorty” Moreland;

brother: Kyle Moreland and wife, Whitney of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sisters: Tracey Tippetts and fiance, Keifer Lang of Muldrow, OK and Jenna Duty and companion, Jesse Young of Muldrow, OK;

niece: Kopelynn Lang of Muldrow, OK;

numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends;

her extra special “Jinger”: Martha Tippetts Olsen of Muldrow, OK;

her 4 legged companions: Rose and Karlee

She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Hannah Moreland and grandmothers: Darla Lowder and Cathy Hyatt

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Sessums, David Goode, Buddy Harmon, Don Hyatt, Rocky Woods, Jr. and Roger Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Marr, Greg Peters, Michael Stout, Todd Pennington, Eugene Moreland, Keifer Lang, Jesse Young and all fellow students and staff at Liberty Public Schools .

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm Sunday.
