Funeral service for Maggie Louise (Curry) Lockhart, 89 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 19, 1930 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Ida Pearl (Long) Curry and John Raymond Curry and passed away on September 19, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Carthel Clinton “Corky” Lockhart on April 1, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2014. Mrs. Lockhart was a business woman, bookkeeper, office manager for C.C. Lockhart Trucking and owner/operator of Country Kitchen. She was a member of Sallisaw Church of Christ.

Survivors are:

2 daughters and sons in law: Janice and Brook Hopson of McAlester, OK and Sandra and Bill Terry of Hernando, FL;

2 sons and daughters in law: Jimmy and Mavis Lockhart of Sallisaw, OK and Ron and Veronica Lockhart of Sallisaw, OK;

12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren;

2 sisters: Florence Thomas of Sallisaw, OK and Ethel McClure of Sallisaw, OK;

2 brothers: Roy Curry of Yukon, OK and Jimmy Curry of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister: Eva Jean Lowe and 3 brothers: Raymond, Thomas and Rayburn “PeeWee” Curry

Active pallbearers will be Shawn Hopson, Stoney Brook Ragan, Derek DeMoss, Terry Lockhart, Trey Tucker, Bill Terry and Brook Hopson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Men of the Sallisaw Church of Christ.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday, 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
