Services for Manuel Richard Daugherty, 63 of Marble City, OK will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Peters Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 20, 1955 in Bunch, OK to Lizzie Comingdeer Daugherty and Richard Daugherty and passed away on April 10, 2019 in Marble City, Oklahoma. Mr. Daugherty was a custodian at Redbird Clinic.

Survivors are:

Companion: Sandra Taylor of Vian, OK;

3 daughters: Takie Buzzard of Tulsa, OK, Lessa Daugherty and companion Coleen Montgomery of Sallisaw, OK and Alicia “Shorty” Morris and husband: Matt of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Manuel “Bubba” Daugherty II of Sallisaw, OK;

1 step-daughter: Heather Taylor of Vian, OK;

1 step-son: Londell Taylor of Vian, OK;

12 grandchildren;

1 sister: Lillie Jean Sumpter of Peoria, ILL;

1 brother: Bob Stevenson of Hobbs, NM;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends;

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Onawake Pettit and Dianne Daugherty and 1 brother: Levi Daugherty

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Taylor, Brett Sizemore, Justin Roberts, Tyler Morris, Red Noel and David Sizemore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Sparks, Londell Taylor, Jake Nodine, Matt Morris, Bubba Daugherty and Jeremy Lee .

Viewing will be Saturday 10 am – 8 pm, Sunday 2 – 8 pm and Monday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home – Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Monday.
