Marcedith Gail (Woody) Martin

Services for Marcedith Gail Martin, 79 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on June 9, 1938 in Long, Oklahoma to Vela Debitha (Tabor) Woody and Jim Woody and passed away on April 12, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Martin was a waitress at Lessley’s Cafe when she was 13, owned convenience stores, Beacon’s, nursing homes, and was co-owner of Iron Post Smoke Shop.

Survivors are:

3 daughters and sons-in-law: Vicky and Brian Forde of Clovis, NM, Karla and C.W. Hubbard of Roland, OK and Melissa and Scott Lowe of Sallisaw, OK

8 grandchildren: Jade Qualls-Fleming, Arron Qualls and wife, April, Kelsey O’Connor and husband, Danny, Kyle Moreland and wife, Whitney, Kayley Stubblefield, Dax Stubblefield, Dayton Lowe and Ranson Lowe

great grandchildren: Blaze Qualls and Katie O’Connor

3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law: Lahoma Bigby of Tahlequah, OK, Janelle and John Gordon of Long, OK and Judy and Chuck Eckland of Roland, OK

2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law: Jerry Woody of Sallisaw, OK and Randall and Michelle Woody of Long, OK

brother in law: Dean Cowens

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Kay Stephens and Jeannye Cowens, sister-in-law: Dorothy Woody and brother-in-law: Gilbert Bigby

Active pallbearers will be Kyle Moreland, Danny O’Connor, Paul Moreland, Dayton Lowe, Ethan Dodd, Dax Stubblefield, Ranson Lowe and Justice Williams.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday, 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm Sunday.
