She was born on August 28, 1927 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Vola Mae (Howell) Edwards and Sam B. Edwards and passed away on September 16, 2022 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Bobby F. Harkreader on in Akins, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2004. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are two daughters, Rita Neal of Sallisaw, OK and Joy Whittaker of Merced, CA; six grandchildren, Glenna Miller, Nichole Farmer, Melissa Gonzales, Matt Whittaker, Mitchell Harkreader and Bobby Harkreader; eight great-grandchildren, Derek, Braden, Matthew, Jake, Taylor, Hannah, Loren and Kasey; one sister, Carol Selvidge of Dustin, OK; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Harkreader; one daughter, Evelyn Harkreader; parents, Sam and Vola Mae (Howell) Edwards; husband, Bobby Harkreader; and her brother, Kenneth Edwards.
