Funeral Service for Margie Pearl Taylor Dean, “Granny,” 88, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on July 18, 1932 in Bearden, Oklahoma to Opal Marie (Goodwin) Smith and W.K. Smith and passed away on July 28, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a retired inspector from Whirlpool Corporation, a former Sunday school teacher and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Linda Dahl and David of Kodiak, AK, Charlotte White and C.L. of Queen Creek, AZ and Debra Whisenhunt and Jerry of Muldrow, OK;

1 son: Tyrone Floyd Taylor of Muldrow, OK;

16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren;

1 sister: Claudia Morton of Cleveland, OK;

1 brother: Alfred Smith of Tulsa, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Taylor; grandson, Tyler Smith; parents, W.K. Smith and Opal Marie (Goodwin) Smith; two brothers, Eric Jones and Tommy Jones; and three sisters, Flo Bernard, Maurita Channon and Virginia Mae Smith.

Active Pallbearers will be Jerry Whisenhunt, Jr., Scott Smith, Tyrone Taylor II, Ronnie Owens, Treyton Kibbee and Melissa Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aden Whisenhunt, Chevy Dean Taylor, Logan Taylor, Lily Taylor and Julia Clark.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
