Marilyn 'Faye' (Garvin) Allen

Graveside Service for Marilyn “Faye” (Garvin) Allen, 76, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on November 4, 1946 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Pauline Imogene (Davis) Garvin and Lee Amos Garvin and passed away on October 10, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Clifford Felton Allen on April 27, 1963 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2004. She was a beautician and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are three sons, Jimmy Allen of Sallisaw, OK, Clifford Ray Allen and Misty of Wagoner, OK and John Allen of Sallisaw, OK; two grandchildren, Dayton and Jesslyn; two sisters, Yvonne Nance of Sallisaw, OK and Kaye Tinney and Raymond of Checotah, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Patsy McCrary and Sondra Rudick; and one brother, John Garvin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ted Fine, Jim Bob Clark, Gary Lattimore, Bobby Shoemate and Bryan Warner.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday and 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 3 – 5 Sunday.
