Graveside services for Marjorie Ruth Weeks Oliver, 99 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on August 15, 1919 in Margaretville, New York to Hildred Dorothy (Jenkins) Weeks and Judson Robert Weeks and passed away on September 6, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Oliver was raised in the Catskill Mountains and received her Bachelors Degree from Hardwick College at the age of 19. She was married to Dr. Frederick Bell Oliver on January 1, 1941 in Margaretville, New York. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2002. Mrs. Oliver was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sallisaw, OK.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Jo Anne Oliver Leikam of Tulsa, OK, Virginia Kaye Ronk of Tulsa, OK and Deanna Ruth Johnston and husband, James of Vian, OK

8 grandchildren: Catherine Jade Graham, Frederick Brian Latimer, Emily Dawn Fryer, Ruth Anne Hurst, Oliver Kingsley Ronk,
Ann Marie Johnston, James Frederick Johnston and Marjorie Ruth Coombes

9 great grandchildren: Chloe Nicole Graham, Karsten Latimer Graham, Joseph Augustine Zemke, Olivia Paige Ronk, Andrew Kevin Hurst, Memphis Grace Ronk, Salem Council Ronk, Jaceton Ray Johnston and Pyper Marie Johnston

1 sister: Dorothy Henrietta Bloodgood of North Carolina

numerous other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday 10 am – 8 pm and Sunday 2 – 8 pm.
