Graveside service for Mark Duane Matthews, 56 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 19, 1965 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Mary Etta (Fargo) Matthews and Troy Duane Matthews and passed away on September 5, 2022 in Gore, Oklahoma. Mr. Matthews was a miner and heavy equipment operator. He always offered a helping hand to someone in need.

Survivors are:

2 daughters, Danyella Matthews of Kathleen, GA and Kyelea Pratt of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son, Brenton Matthews and Samantha of Hemlock, NY;

7 grandchildren, Gauge, Addley, Tensley, Noah, Abel, Abby and Aidan;

1 sister, Jennifer Matthews Henry of Sallisaw, OK;

nieces and nephews, Brookshire Rowe, Jenny Morgan and Mason Tootle;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
