Graveside Service for Mark Lee Waits, 66 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on January 13, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Juanita Douglas Waits and James Foster Waits and passed away on August 25, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Neta Faye (Johnston) Waits on April 8, 1994 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Waits worked as a meat cutter. He loved playing music, gardening and working cattle. He enjoyed watching the OU Sooners and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Survivors are wife, Neta of the home; two daughters, Amy Williams and J.R. of Van Buren, AR and Angel Luper and Chris Arthur of Roland, OK; one son, Ronnie Angel and Sara of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jody Hammons and one brother, Clifford Waits.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Rogers, Austin Luper, Mitch Sparkman, Mack Moad, David Jarrard, Gene Cook, and Roy Gene Cook.
Viewing and visitation with the family will be 6 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
