Graveside service for Markus Ray Lowery, 39 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at McCoy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 5, 1983 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jo Ann Coday Lowery and Jerry Paul Lowery and passed away on January 4, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Lowery was a store clerk. He enjoyed mountain biking, playing video games, fishing and collecting coins and sports cards.

Survivors are one son, Zaxton Lowery of the home; parents, Jerry and Jo Ann Lowery of Sallisaw, OK; four sisters, Sherry Drewery of Alma, AR, Loretta Gray and Matthew of the home, Jeri Lowery of Muldrow, OK and Alecia Isom and David of Center Ridge, AR; nieces and nephews, Kayley Sandefur of Muldrow, OK, Mariona Exum of Center Ridge, AR, Trevor Gray of Sallisaw, OK, Caden Gray of Sallisaw, OK, Isiah Sandefur of Muldrow, OK, Seth Lowery of Muldrow, OK and Charlie Isom of Center Ridge, Ar; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathirene and Floyd Coday and Helen and Tom Hill.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Gray, Caden Gray, David Isom, Kyle Morton, Matt Gray and Isiah Sandefur.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
