Services for Marlene Phelps, 74 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00pm on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Stilwell First Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 19, 1944 in Springfield, Illinois to Mary Daves Hauck and Spencer Eugene Blackburn Sr. and passed away on November 13, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Claude Jo Phelps on December 6, 1971 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a former beautician and secretary for Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow, OK.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Bambi Phelps of Brushy Mountain, OK

2 sons: Kenneth Sturm of Muldrow, OK and Claude Heath Phelps of the home

6 grandchildren: Sheena Ross of Howe, OK, Sondra Sturm of Muldrow, OK, Nyle Sturm of Muldrow, OK, Megan Pratt of Muldrow, OK, K.T. Sturm of Nicut, OK and Justin Lane Shofner of Muldrow, OK

6 great grandchildren

5 sisters: Suzette Sumner and Frank of Brimfield, IL, Victoria Richard and Gene of Phoenix, AZ, Teri Mundy of Phoenix, AZ, Tracy Schumacher and Don of Peoria, IL and Mimi Hauck of Phoenix, AZ

3 brothers: Gene Blackburn and Fran of Phoenix, AZ, Scott Hauck and Jodie of Mill Creek, WA and Dana Hauck of Las Vegas, NV

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Daves Hauck; her first husband, Nyle Sturm; her second husband, Claude Joe Phelps; and 1 daughter, Kim Sturm.

Active Pallbearers will be Steven Tolley, Lawrence Dale Phelps II, Paul Denny, Matt Frederick, Lawrence Seabolt and Landon Powers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Rowe, Greg Walters, Tommy Hoover and Bob Anglen.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 pm – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
