Martha Jane Swenson

Cremation Service for Martha Jane Swenson, 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on June 19, 1938 in Republic, Missouri to Grace Ellen Hagewood and Victor Laney and passed away on February 17, 2020 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors are:

companion: Walter Wright of the home;

3 daughters: Vivian Flex, Judith Ranae Chapman of Milan, TN and Teri Hannah of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Charles Swenson and Tammy Swikert of Wisconsin;

13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by two brothers, Chester Brittain and Lewis Hagewood; one sister, Vesta Mae Brittain; parents; and 3 grandsons, Colton, Caliber and Chance Waters.
