Funeral service for Marvin Allen Petree, 74 of Vilonia, AR, formerly of Muldrow, OK will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral service for Marvin Allen Petree, 74 of Vilonia, AR, formerly of Muldrow, OK will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on July 21, 1949 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dovie Mae (Lewis) Petree and Marion Edker Petree and passed away on July 30, 2023 in Conway, Arkansas. He was married to Linda Lou (Bailey) Petree on January 2, 1970 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2018. Mr. Petree was retired from Whirlpool and the Army National Guard. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors are one daughter, Kristina Lewallen and Christopher of Vilonia, AR; one son, Jeffery Petree and Myla of Muldrow, OK; seven grandchildren, Brook Easter and Richard, Madison Petree, Destoni Lewallen, Piper Petree, Luke Lewallen, Sophia Petree and Levi Lewallen; one great-grandchild, Ava Sue Easter; and several other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to his honorary family, Jesica Talbert and Vonda Price for their care and compassion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister.
Active Pallbearers will be John Bradbury, Brad Ringgold, Richard Easter, Ryan Talbert, Deremy Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Darrell Wayne Bailey and Anthony Bailey.
Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Thursday and 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Thursday.
