Graveside Service for Mary (Ritter) Elam, 81, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 2, 1939 in Milton, Oklahoma to Lola Maxine (Thompson) Ritter and Lee Ollie Ritter and passed away on November 1, 2020 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Rodney Ernest Elam on July 5, 1992. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2019. She was an assistant caregiver for Sequoyah Manor and Nutrition Center.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Brenda Crase of Muldrow, OK, Debra Swift of Muldrow, OK and Pamela Batts of Perry, OK;

4 sons: Gary Summers of Ft. Smith, AR, Darren Summers of Muldrow, OK, Ronald Summers of Poteau, OK and Leroy Summers, Jr. of Muldrow, OK;

numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;

2 sisters: Sylvia Boiydol of Keota, OK and Annette Brown of Antlers, OK;

3 brothers: Vernon Ritter of Spiro, OK, William Ritter of Spiro, OK and Raymond Ritter of Poteau, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Scott Summers; one daughter, Rhonda Summers; one brother, Curtis Ritter; and two sisters, Cleata Asher and Shirley Ritter.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
