Mary (Rowe) Jumper

Funeral Service for Mary Jumper, 72, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 18, 1951 in Blackgum community, Oklahoma to Dorothy Priscilla (Pruitt) Rowe and Robert Frank Rowe and passed away on June 29, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a home health licensed practical nurse and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are husband, Butch Chunestudy; three daughters, Miranda Jumper and Brian B. of Illinois, Rhonda Smith and Brian of Sallisaw, OK and Robin Spencer and Johnny of Sallisaw, OK; four sons, John E. Jumper, Jr. of Sallisaw, OK, Billy Jumper of Jay, OK, Jeffrey Jumper of Newkirk, OK and Steven Jumper and Holli of Sallisaw, OK; 16 grandchildren, John E. Jumper, III, Taylor Jumper, Jeffrey Coby Jumper, Jaci Eads, Clay Sizemore, Sheridan Jumper, Jade Weer, Camryn Smith, Gavin Jumper, Katlyn Smith, Braeden Jumper, Jaxon Dersam, Joshua Jumper, Lilli Jumper, Noah Spencer, Gavin Spencer, Hannah Jumper and Alyssa Jumper; eight great-grandchildren, Cora Jumper, Kenna Jumper, Daison Jumper, Kennedy Smith, Reece Weer, Julian Jumper, Lila White, Remi Sizemore and Kayson Ramsey; seven brothers, Robert Rowe of Garland, TX, Norman Rowe of Van Buren, AR, Merel Rowe of Sallisaw, OK,Charles Rowe of Fort Smith, AR, David Rowe of Webbers Falls, OK, Paul Rowe of Siloam Springs, AR and Edwin Rowe of Harrah, OK; one sister, Alice Stahl of Vian, OK; and several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Jumper, Sr.; one great-granddaughter, Hadlee Eads; parents; two brothers, James Rowe and Earl Rowe; and one sister, Thresa Kelley.

Active Pallbearers will be Brian B, Brian Smith, Johnny Spencer,Dakota Eads, John E. Jumper, III and Clay Sizemore.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Jumper, Billy Jumper, Jeffrey Jumper and John E. Jumper, Jr.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
