Visitation for Mary Katherine (Freeman) Bowman, 87 of Fort Smith, Arkansas will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma.

She was born on April 21, 1936 in Bell Gardens, California to Otis Ellen (Gross) Freeman and Donnie Clifton Freeman and passed away on December 4, 2023 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was married to Kenneth Clinton Bowman on June 10, 1960 in Pico Rivera, California. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2016. Mrs. Bowman was a house cleaner.

Survivors are one daughter, Sheila Sparkman and David of Fort Smith, AR; one granddaughter, Shanda Linville of Charleston, AR; two grandsons, Christopher Ray Freeman and Kristen of Fort Smith, AR and Casey Thomas and Brigette of Van Buren, AR; 6 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Betty Clifton and two brothers, Joe and Kenneth Freeman.
