Services for Mary Kathryn (Masters) Benge, 92, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mary Kathryn (Masters) Benge was born on December 29, 1926 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Mary Alice (McDonald) Masters and Rev. “Ted” Masters and passed away on June 15, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to David Richard Benge on January 15, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1990. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter and son in law: Donna Shropshire and husband, Jimmy, of Sallisaw, OK;

2 granddaughters: Nicki Shropshire of Tulsa, OK and Nyla Parks and husband, Clay, of Van Buren, AR;

1 great grandson: Alex Baggs and wife, Samantha, of Colorado Springs, CO;

1 great great grandson: Blayne of Colorado Springs, CO;

6 sisters: Reba Morris, Pat Fukuhara, Betty Campbell and Sue Smith all of CA, Shirley Beggs of TX and Janice Gibbs of ID;

1 brother: Don Masters of CA;

numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents: Ted and Mary Masters, 2 brothers: Ted Masters, Jr. and Sam Masters, 1 sister: Vida Cook and 1 very special nephew: F.E. Cook.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Monday, 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
