Graveside Service for Mary (Shade) Stagner, 76, of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Phillips Cemetery in Cookson, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 1, 1944 in Notchietown, Oklahoma to Rachel (Pigeon) Shade and Redbird Shade and passed away on March 28, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Bill Stagner on February 14, 1998 in Miami, Oklahoma. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Vian Nursing Home and Cherokee Nation.

Survivors are:

husband: Bill of the home;

2 daughters: Claudene Arney and Steve of Gore, OK and Robyn Rodgers of Gore, OK;

1 step-son: Ray Stagner and Traci of Oklahoma City, OK;

6 grandchildren: Brittney Wooten, Seth and Nicole Arney, Alex and Paula Powell, Caleb Stagner, Evan Stagner and Emma Stagner;

3 great-grandchildren: Waylon Wooten, Stefanie Powell and Celeste Reaves;

2 sisters: Gussie Kelley of Gore, OK and Wilma Brimm of Warner, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Freddie Shade and Robert Shade.

Active Pallbearers will be Steve Arney, Seth Arney, Alex Powell, Robert Shade, Ty Sanders and Walter Kelley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Stagner, Caleb Stagner and Evan Stagner.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
