Funeral Service for Mayme Janice (James) Rogers, 80, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Gans Assembly of God Church in Gans, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 30, 1941 in Gans, Oklahoma to Nan H. (Hicks) James and Theodore William James and passed away on January 29, 2022 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was married to Carroll Lee Rogers on February 9, 1956 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2022. She formerly worked at Moffett Stockyards, was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are:

2 daughters, Jan Garvin of Gans, OK and Lea Ann Mabray and husband, Bill, of Van Buren, AR;

1 son, James Rogers and wife, Shu-Shu, of Arkoma, OK;

5 grandchildren, Mikki Pratt of Gans, OK, Brooke Mabray of Muldrow, OK, Trey Mabray of Westport, CT, Cheyenne Rogers of Stillwater, OK and Ciara Rogers of Fort Smith, AR;

8 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Jolie, Kaden, Katlyn, Hannah, Parker, Paisley and Kix;

2 sisters, Nancy Studdard of Gore, OK and Sydney Stuart of Liberty community, OK;

and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Carol Ann James.

Active Pallbearers will be Trey Mabray, Cheyenne Rogers, Kaden Corderman, Dave Pratt, Parker Sevenstar, Terry Sevenstar, Coby Tate, Kix Rogers and Isaac Pratt

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Rogers, Mark Rogers, Brig Rogers, Scotty Rogers, Jason Rogers, Jerry Rogers, Steven Rogers, Chris Stephenson and Payne Hall.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday, 2 – 8 PM Sunday and 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Monday.
