Services for Michael Dee Hunter, 67 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on February 15, 1952 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Betty Lois (Roberts) Hunter and D.O. Hunter and passed away on February 24, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Pamela Jean (Phillips) Hunter on Oct. 22, 1971 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mr. Hunter was a retired purchasing agent for Baldor Electric. He loved fishing, hunting and riding Harleys.

Survivors are:

wife: Pam of the home;

2 sons: Michael Shawn Hunter and wife, Malina of Muldrow, OK and Lance Phillips Hunter and wife, Jennifer of Muldrow, OK;

3 granddaughters: Brittney Hunter, Brooklyne Hunter and Lynnzie Hunter;

1 sister: Donna Edwards and husband, Danny of Muldrow, OK;

1 nephew: Gerry Stewart and wife, Traci of Muldrow, OK;

Stepmother: Alene Hunter of Muldrow, OK;

He was preceded in death by his parents: D.O. and Betty Hunter

Active pallbearers will be Justin Ogdon, Heath Hampton, Gage Hampton, Randy Crowder, Gerry Wayne Stewart and David Fout.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Comstock, Hunter Stewart, Colton Stewart, Jerry Dyer, Dennis Hiser, Jargo Jones, Lloyd Lewis, Jerry Prewett, Aaron Vanzant and Danny Edwards .

Viewing will be 11 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
