Services for Michael James Cardwell, 54 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on January 29, 1965 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Wanda Marie (Lowe) Cardwell and Ralph Wayne Cardwell and passed away on February 27, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Tina (Dotson) Cardwell on October 12, 1984 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Cardwell was an electric lineman for the City of Sallisaw.

brother: Darrell Cardwell of Sallisaw, OK;

mother in law: JoAnne Jenkins and Gerald of Sallisaw, OK;

father in law: Randy Dotson and Scheryl of Sallisaw, OK;

sister in law: Stacie Carter and Mike of Sallisaw, OK;

Brothers in law: Jason Rogers and Cassandra of Sallisaw, OK and Jay Jenkins of Mountain Home, AR;

nieces: Brittana Darcy and Kenneth of Sallisaw, OK, Ashley Cardwell and Dakota Daws of Sallisaw, OK and Kayla Jenkins of Sallisaw, OK;

nephews: Bailey Carter of Sallisaw, OK, Dillon Cardwell of Gans, OK, Chance Cardwell of Sallisaw, OK, Justin Jenkins of Sallisaw, OK and Nathan Rogers of Sallisaw, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Tracey Cardwell.

Active pallbearers will be Dustin Cardwell, Dillon Cardwell, Bailey Carter, Chance Cardwell, Kenneth Darcy, Dakota Daws, and Hunter Dewitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Cardwell, Mike Carter, Jeff Kleman, J.J. Wilson, Mike Keith, Heath Dewitt and Ricky McClendon .

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 -6 pm Sunday.
