Funeral Service for Michael Ross Parish, 40, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Michael Ross Parish was born December 3, 1983 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He passed this life at his favorite place, the family farm in Akins, Oklahoma, on April 19, 2024 at the age of 40.
Michael was a Sallisaw High School graduate, class of 2002. After working for a brief period, he attended Tulsa Welding School, where he graduated with a Master Welder Certificate in 2004. Michael was a welder, carpenter and former part owner of Shallow Water Bucking Bulls. He loved to fish, hunt, grow beautiful plants and flowers, take care of the cattle and search for arrowheads.
He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, William and Melva Parish and Mark McDonald, his daughter Madisyn Parish, his wife Kim Parish, his stepdaughters Alexis, Brooke and Katie Springwater, his Grandmother Kay McDonald, his Hanna Family: Dave, Sharon, Matt and Abby who were more like parents and siblings than Uncle, Aunt and Cousins. He also leaves behind his Parish family in Ohio who he dearly loved and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Melvin Ross, Aaron and Lucille Parish, Mike McDonald and his beloved Granny, Peggy Ross.
Pallbearers are Matthew Hanna, Cole Lenington, Drew Martin, Travis Martin, Brent McDonald and Casey Rogers.
Viewing will be 9 AM - 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
