Graveside service for Mike Henson, 72 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 6, 1950 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and passed away on November 15, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Janie Henson on September 4, 1982 in Roland, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2013. Mike lived in Elk City, Oklahoma and Madrid, Spain from age 9 until 14. At the age of 14, he moved back to Muldrow, Oklahoma and graduated from Muldrow High School in 1968. Mike had a 35 year career at Baldor Electric in Fort Smith where he retired in 2013 as Human Resources Director. One of his passions was mentoring and coaching women amateur softball players for many years.

Survivors are one son, Lance Lewis and Brenda of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren, Taylor Lewis Eldridge and Courtney of Oklahoma City, OK and Alex Lewis and Miranda of Broken Arrow, OK; one great grandson, Landry Lewis of Broken Arrow, OK; one sister, Cammy Henson of Fort Smith, AR; one brother, Patrick Grabe of Akins community, OK; his best buddy and most beloved dachsund, Cosmo; several beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie; parents, Arvil and Iris Henson and one sister, Joy Evans.

Active Pallbearers will be Larry Evans, Alex Lewis, Matt Hightower, Jack Evans, Levi Jones and Alvin Smith.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
