Graveside Service for Mitchell Gene Morgan, 64, formally of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on December 6, 1956 at St. Edward Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Patsy Marie (Ramey) Morgan and Warren Kenneth Morgan and passed away on January 16, 2021 at his beloved home in Memphis, Tennessee with him devoted cat, Arabella. Mr. Morgan graduated from Muldrow High School, entered Subiaco Abbey as a brother in the Order of the Franciscan Brothers. He was a supervisor at All American Label in Memphis, TN and member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Mr. Morgan graduated from Muldrow High School and worked in the private sector before entering Subiaco Abbey in Subiaco, Arkansas as a Brother in the Order of the Franciscan Brothers. He was devoted to his Lord and Savior and served the Catholic Church in many capacities. Mitchell served his Abbey for many years then returned to private life as a supervisor at All American Label when he moved to his beloved Memphis, Tennessee where he lived out the remainder of life and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Mitchell’s wish for his family and friends was that they would live God’s purpose so they would once again be reunited in their heavenly home.
Survivors are:
1 brother: Mike Morgan of Muldrow, OK;
4 aunts: Margie Smith and Ethard of Muldrow, OK, Faye Sharp of Muldrow, OK, Kay Franks and Ronnie of Poteau, OK and Kay Wigginton and Jerry of Hawesville, Kentucky;
his beloved cat: Arabella;
numerous cousins, other relatives, friends and his treasured church family at Blessed Sacrament Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Warren K. and Patsy Morgan and grandparents: R.V. and Lillian Ramey and Tom and Ora Morgan.
