Nadine Campbell

Nadine Campbell, age 88, of Nicut, Oklahoma, passed away on December 6, 2024, in Roland, Oklahoma. She was born on July 22, 1936, in Nicut to Vadeus (Seratt) Horn Shuey and Oscar Clyde Horn.

Nadine was a licensed beautician, a teacher's assistant at Muldrow Schools and a retired licensed practical nurse. Beyond her professional pursuits, she cherished her time spent gardening, quilting, and engaging in Bible study. Most importantly, Nadine found joy in her family.

Nadine is survived by her two daughters, Diane Morton and her husband Larry of Sallisaw, OK, and Beverly Flynn of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Bill Mathews and his wife Rosemary of Nicut, OK, and Kevin Mathews and his wife Karen of Mount Juliet, TN; and two step-daughters, Jenny Jenkins and her husband Tony of Bixby, OK, and Shelly Campbell of Fort Worth, TX. Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, Lloyd Horn and his wife Addie of Kansas City, KS, and Terry Shuey and his wife Mabel of Muldrow, OK, as well as her sister, Donna Minden and her husband BJ of Barling, AR, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and father of her children, Elmer Mathews; her second husband, Art Campbell; two daughters Karen Testerman and Denise Allen, one grandson Cameron Mathews; one step-son Scott Campbell and two brothers, Sonny and Robert Horn.

A graveside service will be held at Lassley Cemetery in Nicut, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Friends are welcome to attend viewing hours at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home on that same day from 10 AM to Noon at 123 South Wheeler Avenue in Sallisaw.

Active Pallbearers will be Kodie Benge, Kyle Morton, Isaac Testerman, Matt Mathews, Zane Mathews and Pete Dean. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Allen, Nathan Morton, Dylan Morton, Nihjal Testerman, Addison Testerman, and Ricky Wells. 

The family requests the honor of all friends and families presence at the reception dinner to be held at the Sallie Byrd Sevenstar Community Building located at 474894 State Highway 101, Muldrow, OK 74948 immediately following the graveside service. We hope to see you there.
