Services for Nathan Joe Pettit, 41 of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at House of Praise Church in Marble City, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on February 15, 1978 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Donna (Christie) Pettit and Joe Earl Pettit and passed away on June 16, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

mother and step-father: Donna and Tex Pettit of Bunch, OK;

father and step-mother: Joe and Mollie Pettit of Sallisaw, OK;

4 sisters: Georgetta Bland of Marble City, OK, Mindy Long of Sallisaw, OK, Amber Connelly of Sallisaw, OK and Samantha Jean-Ann Hall of Marble City, OK;

6 brothers: John Pettit of Marble City, OK, Martin Pettit of Sallisaw, OK, Kevin Pettit of Bunch, OK, Johnny Pettit of Tonkawa, OK, Thomas Pettit of Ponca City, OK and John Tom Pettit of Stilwell, OK;

grandmother: Polly Christie of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Kevin Pettit, brother in law: Cecil Bland, Grandpa: George Christie and Grandma and Grandpa: Nancy and Pigeon Pettit.

Active pallbearers will be Shawn Pettit, Gary Christie, Shawn Christie, Alan Pettit, John Pettit, Chris Sizemore, Kevin Locust, and Rodney Pettit.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Sanders, Calvin Christie and Anthony Locust .

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK. A wake will be 1 PM Wednesday – 11 AM Thursday at his home.
